Why Riwayat
A tradition, retold in wax
Riwayat means tradition: the way something has always been done in a family. The rangoli at the door, the mithai box passed from house to house, the marigolds strung on the morning of Lakshmi Puja. We sculpted those details into candles. Every piece is named in the words we grew up hearing at home, and every one is made to be gifted.
